Whole Family Love

I thought it would be fun to introduce you to my family:

This is my mom.  She drove 8 hours to see her first grandchild’s birth and unfortunately, she missed it.  You see, my daughter was born during one of the worst snow storms Cincinnati has seen in over 20 years!  My mom wears many hats.  She owns her own salon.  Throughout my childhood she was a baker and decorator of cakes, photographer, and YMCA volunteer.  She still owns her salon and she works at a women’s clothing store as well.  She also sells cosmetics and is the head of the Illinois chapter of Chihuahua Rescue USA.  She and my dad have been married for 25 years!

I am actually going back to IL this weekend for the anniversary celebration!

I have one sister who is 8 years younger than I.  Like me, she has a hectic life.  She cheers for the high school football team, babysits for families in her neighborhood, works at a pizza place and helps my mom with the rescue dogs.

My Sister and I At Nan's On Christmas

My maternal grandparents live on a farm.  I love to take my daughter to visit…She loves it too!

I’ve always been close to my grandparents, especially “Nan”.  She has been such a confidant.
