Change Of Plans

Happy Humpday!!  We didn’t end up going to visit Mallard :(   I got sick about an hour before we were planning to leave.  I haven’t had any stomach viruses in a very long time…over a year.  But, of course I became sick at the most inconvenient time.  Oh well.

Snuffy decided to take things into her own hands.  She put on both of my scarves and a reusable grocery bag and headed for the door

When that plan fell through, she turned to Pedro for entertainment

For Pedro’s sake, I was glad that Mallard was able to come home and play with Snuffy.

Well… at least that was the plan.  The poor guy just can’t escape his work.  But, Snuffy was glad to be his right hand man  girl.

Mallard brought us a new Dry Erase Board

Um… the grocery list obviously didn’t fit .

I had been meaning to buy some eco-friendly water bottles for a very long time.

Mission Accomplished. :)

Do flavors ever arise in your thoughts when you walk into the grocery store?  I walked into WF and immediately thought of squash.  Yes, I am a freak.

I baked the spaghetti squash and scraped out the innards (what a gross word)

Done and done.

I had to go to Bed Bath And Beyond after an unsuccessful bathmat search at Target (pronounced Tar-Je)

I did find a bath mat but bath mats are boring.  I also found a Banana Keeper (or wth are these called?)

I keep wanting to call this a banana hammock lol

It’s always fun to have new tools in the kitchen.  Check out this post for a cookware giveaway!

So, once again I am asking for some input from readers and bloggers.  I desperately need a gym bag.  I have been using a tote that I recieved from the hospital when I gave birth to Snuffy.  It’s barely big enough for my shoes, clothes and ipod.  I can’t fit everything in it if I have to shower at the gym.  What kind of gym bag do you have?  Any suggestions?

I am also still participating in the Iron Pumping Challenge!

I love it.  I love that I am able to look forward to running days and cross-training days.

Hmm, well I don’t carry a gym bag, but I do like the Nike bags that go on your back, like psuedo backpacks. They are very durable and they hold a lot.

I am the same way as you, in that I think of different ideas while at the grocery store. I was there yesterday and picked up 2 spaghetti squash, and some random sweet potatoes. I guess I was craving the starchiness of a healthy vegetable!

That dry erase board looks perfect. We need one, as I’m sort of “outgrowing” mine! It’s tiny.

Have a great Thursday Jenna! I hope school is going well.

Haha I also saw that hanger and thought “banana hammock”
I have a Nike gym bag that I got for $15 at Dicks. It’s pretty light and has a lot of pockets
    P.S. Snuffy is adorable!

I use a Puma bag I found at Dick’s for pertty cheap, but it’s not very big (just fits my shoes, a gym outfit and maybe a couple HBC products. Hope your stomach virus was a short one!

    Hey Jenna!

I wanted to know if you had received your Nutrition Action Newsletter yet (from the giveaway you won). Let me know if you have not!

Thanks. Have a great weekend :)

I’ll be eager to see your comments, because I too need a better gym bag. Mine is a little tote I got free back in college. It’s seriously lacking.

I use a Jansport bag that was my backpack for 3 years of high school and 4 years of university. I swear it’s indestructible. It still looks new and there’s not a tear on it.

It cost me about $80, 10 years ago.

It doesn’t hold a hell of a lot of stuff, but maybe JanSport makes gym bags too that are bigger.
